The Lavage de la Madeleine festival was held for the 23rd consecutive year in Paris. This is one of the biggest and most important events of Brazilian culture in Europe and reproduces the ‘Lavagem do Bonfim’, a centuries-old traditional festival of Afro-Brazilian culture that takes place in Salvador de Bahia, Brazil.
