Mixing the plaster.—In a pail put a small handful of red oryellow ochre and fill it half full with clean water which will becoloured accordingly, mix well, and then—for a bust life-size andwithout shoulders, as here represented—-take in a basin aboutfour pints of this coloured water and mix the plaster with it.
