Sigi (or Siggi) is the forefather of the Volsung lineage. He is said to be one of the sons of Odin in the Volsung saga and Nafnaþulur both. He has a son named Rerir. He was outlawed for murdering a thrall named Bredi who had outdone him in hunting.
