ARABIAN GULF (Oct. 5, 2015) Marines with the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit’s Maritime Raid Force execute pushups before they fire during a deck shoot aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2). These Marines fatigued their bodies prior to shooting to simulate a combat environment.
