General Manager of Peckovers, Limited Announcement is made of the forma-tion of a new warehousing, jobbing andimporting company in Toronto under thename of Peckovers Ltd. J. G. Near, forthe past eighteen years with the firmof Drummond, McCall, has been namedas general manager. The principals in the firm are C. , of the firm ,of Baines andPeckover, and Mr. Near. Montreal Association Elects New Officers At its annual meeting in Montrealthe Metal and Hardware Associationsection of the Montreal Board of Tradeelected the following officers: Presi-dent, A. Prudhomme; vice-president,Edward Goodwill; treasurer, W. ; directors, George Childs, R. , W. S. Leslie, and J. Mr. Leslie was chosen againthis year as the associations nomineefor re-election to the council of theBoard of Trade.
