Habitat in Africa tropicali ? In Mus. Bristol Philos. Institution. The singular, almost semicircularly elevated carina along themiddle of the mesonotum, at once distinguishes this insect from allother Phasmidse. It appears to be congeneric with the specieslast above described, although destitute of any lateral the development of the sexual apparatus, which is nearlysimilar to that of D. serricollis, I consider the specimen not tobe in an immature state. h. 51 PLATE LXII.
