Windmill House, Windmill Lane, Smethwick 25 June 2013. West Midlands Police detectives trawl through boxes of paper and floppy disk evidence in relation to the Hillsborough football disaster of 1989. The files were discovered by chance in 2013 in an unrelated search at the force Headquarters at Lloyd House in Birmingham which were later moved to Windmill House, Smethwick to inspect the contents. WMP were originally tasked with examining South Yorkshire Police's handling of the incident.
