Venter with a patch ot silvery, scalelike pubescence laterally on third segment. Female.—Length , width ; very similar to the male, but third antennal seg- ment perceptibly thicker ( thick), nearly equal to thickness of first segment. Habits.—Occurs on pines {Pinus syl- I'estris and P. resinosa). Known Distribution. — Alabama, Illi- nois, Iowa, Maryland, Massachusetts, Min- nesota, New Jersey, New York, Pennsyl- vania.
