was Porsche's first Can-Am car for the 1969 season, basically a 908 type body on a 917K chassis. It led directly to the 917/10 and 917/30 championship cars of 1972 and 1973. The car was built for VW of America in 1969 with open top body. Raced by Jo Siffert, it finished 4th that year.
