The town of Haro in Northern Spain is Is at the heart of the famous Rioja wine making industry and is steeped in history. La Paz Square is at the heart of the city where the 18th century Town Hall and other main buildings are located. The numerous palaces dating back as far as the 16th century show the economic strength and importance of the town. Numerous bronze statues are located around the town relating to the wine making industry.
