Gerson (continues DeRossi) still lived at Soncino, in the year 1489, nor had he then left hiscountry; so that there is no doubt of the edition appearing at thatplace in the same year. It is also the first edition in which his namealone appears. That the reader may have a notion of the splendor of the two cuts,designative of the words before particularly luentioned, I present himwith a fac-simile of the third cut, being the first initial word of thesecond part; to which the two following lines are added:.
