Post modern Saint Bonaventura Roman Catholic Cathedral Banja Luka by dusk and Statue of Jesus Christ with arms open in welcome


The statue was presented by Pope John Paul II. The present Cathedral (1974) has been designed by the architect Ljubomir Matisevic. The old Cathedral built in Gothic style in1885 -1887 was heavily damaged in an earthquake in 1969.
