Close up orchid phalaenopsis

These plants are epiphytes, which grow naturally on the bark of trees, from large, fleshy leaves and colorful flowers, sometimes of considerable size (more than 10 cm in diameter), often very long lasting on the plant that is cut. Phalaenopsis plants are monopodal development, which have only one "foot" vegetative. They are not provided pseudobulbs but have a simpler rhizome from which arise huge leaves opposite, persistent, oval, symmetrical to the longitudinal line. The color of the vegetation varies depending on the species, but generally the leaves are dark green. The variously colored flowers, have very different aspects of species and species but can boast often large and always a great exotic beauty. They are located along the flower stems, which develop from the stem, and grow in the direction of stems, usually 15 cm long
