Recruits from Fox Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, conduct pull-ups during an inventory physical fitness test at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Aug. 29. To complete a single pull-up, recruits are required to lift their chin over the bar completely. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Fox Company is scheduled to graduate Sept. 23.
