Central Station and City Hall, Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Thursday 18th November, 2021. Pro-Palestine demonstrators gathered outside Rotterdam central station, this afternoon to demonstrate against the ‘NEDS’ arms fair. The fair is a Dutch government-backed arms exhibition, hosting companies such as Elbit Systems, Israel Aerospace Industries and Rafael Systems. Due to the present Corona pandemic, and the increase in case numbers in The Netherlands, the arms fair is now postponed until February 2022. This did not deter the small group of protesters, who made up in sound what they lacked in size; they demand an end to the Dutch government's use of public funds to support the Israeli military war complex.
