April 10th, 2020 – 9:00 – Holy Friday Gessate, a small town (approx. 9,000 inhabitants), in the hinterland of Milan. Every year, at nine of the Holy Friday, most of the population of the town gathered in the main church for the Via Crucis. This year, because of the coronavirus, the churches around the country remained closed and the faithful followed the Via Crucis celebrated in the Vatican by Pope Francesco transmitted live on TV.
