Lionesses embrace eachother FASCINATING images show two sister lionesses from the same pride fighting each other. Three little cubs can be seen watching this aggressive embrace unfold from the sidelines. Just three months old, the cubs had the good sense of staying out of the way of their mother and the aunt's shenanigans. These lions live in Zambia?s South Luangwa National Park and were captured by a British wildlife photographer, Nathalie Mountain (53), from a distance of approximately 100 feet using a Nikon D850 camera and Nikon AF-S 180-400mm lens. Nathalie had witnessed the pride hunt earlier in the morning and captured their reunion later in the day. ?I was so excited to see the whole morning?s incredible encounter,? she said. ?From the drama of the hunt demonstrating the fierceness and power of lions to the loving reunion of the two lionesses with their cubs demonstrating their softer side and deep family bonds. ?It showed two very different sides of a lion's behaviour, which I find fascinating. ?I just love watching interactions between animals and seeing these lionesses and their cubs, and the affection between them was amazing and it was a real privilege to have witnessed this wonderful ENDS
