A beautiful Palm, is one of the finest additions that can be made to any collec- tion of plants, but the high prices of the best varieties have prevented most people from possessing one. Is hardy and robust euou^h to succeed anywhere, at a price which brings it within the reach of all It has elegant dark green, fan shaped leaves, from which hang thread like filaments. The plant is a compact grower, well adapted to pot culture, succeeding in any situa- tion, and with any treatment that will keep a Geranium alive. A grand ornament during winter, and in sum- mer it can adorn a veranda, or be placed in any shady place about the garden or yard, or used for a center in a vase, basket or flower bed—always ornamental any- where.
