In order to facilitate the securing of a grant covering a portion of the cost, the electrical installations onPiers 9 and 19 and the connecting wharf at Piers 35-37, were done by contract. Although no grant was involved, therehabilitation of the electrical system in Shed A on Pier 50 was done in the same manner. In addition to the ordinary maintenance and repair work, the following installations were made by the Boardselectricians.
