At the time there werethree patients in the ward (Cases I, III and V) victimsof electrical accidents, the other two nearly oppositethis mau. He and one of the men opposite him (CaseIII) complained, of their own accord, at almost pre-cisely the same time, of feeling a shock like that oftheir original injury. Case V was up and about theward, nearly well, aud no inquiry was made as to whether he had a similar sensation.
