The Church Of San Pablo courtyard located at the entrance to the archeological site in Mitla. The complex was built in the 16th century by Spanish on the top of a large pre-Hispanic religious platform. The Spaniards pretended they built the church over the dweling place of the lord and lady of the underworld so that they can prevent the devil to escape.
