Nu- merous corymbs of double white flowers and pretty fern-like fohage. (See cut.) Pallliata [Crimson Meadow Sweet). One of the most beau- tiful hardy plants in cultivation. The deep purple red of the stems and branches, passing into the crimson purple of the broad corymbs of flower, contrasts most exquisitely with the foliage. Vemista. A showy red-flowering species; very fragrant; growing 4 to 5 feet.
