Attempts to increafe the guilt and fhame : There is noway to repair the breaches in our honour, which ourfin hath made, but by free Confeflion and Humilia-tion. I durft not but make Confeflion of my own ;and if any be offended that I have confeffed theirs ,let them know, that I do but what I have done bymy felf. And if they dare difown the confeflion oftheir fin, let them do it at their peril. But as for allthe truly humble Miniftersof the Gofpel, I doubtnot but they will rather be provoked more folemnlyin the face of their feveral Congregations, to lamenttheir fins, and promife Reformation.
