An enterprising florist in Europe has succeeded in raising a quantity of the seed of this renowned Carnation, which we have secured. Plants will bloom in three or four months from the time of sowing. The are simply enormous in size, perfectly double, of a delicate blush color and strong clove fragrance. Growth very stout with large luxuriant foliage. No other Carnation can compare with this variety. The packet which we give contains 40 or 50 seeds, all of which will not come true, but if only one plant of Malmaison is secured it is a prize well worth a dollar.
