The Circle may be regarded as a polygon of an infinite numberof sides. As it is impossible to take this infinite number into account,it is usual, when working on radial axes to divide the Circle into3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, or 16, similar parts, as indicated in thefigures.
