Leatherback sea turtle at sunrise

The endangered leatherback sea turtle nests in only a few spots in North America. Juno Beach boasts one of the densest leatherback nesting aggregations on Florida's east coast. Nesting is a long, tiring process, and sometimes female turtles will find themselves covering up their nests at sunrise. Not a bad way to end a long night!
