A German wheellock rifle Circa 1600. Swamped nine-groove rifled octagonal barrel in 16 mm calibre with double folding sights. Slightly chiselled wheellock with external wheel and (defective) set trigger. Blackened fruitwood stock with engraved and chiselled (partly replaced) bone inlays, the cheek with a contemporary leather cover. Iron trigger guard, the later wooden ramrod with bone tip.
