Designs for this Arch are in course of prepara-tion by Mr. Stanford White, Architect, who has kindlyconsented to prepare them, and has offered his serviceswithout expense. The Arch will be erected in accordance with oneof Mr. Whites designs, at such point upon Fifth 8. WASHINGTON ARCH, (North View.) Avenue between Washington Square and 14th Street,as he may advise. The route of the procession is not, as at firstannounced, up Broadway to 14th Street, but is upBroadway to Waverley Place, down Waverley Place toFifth Avenue, and up Fifth Avenue to 59th Street. The Arch to be erected will be paid for byvoluntary subscriptions, and the design will be selectedduring this present month in accordance with theamount subscribed. Subscriptions will only be sought from residentson Waverley Place, Washington Square, and FifthAvenue, from the Square to 14th Street. You are respectfully invited to subscribe to thefund.
