"With the exception of dah- lias and smaller varieties of chrysan- themums the wholesale market is cleared up very early. Chrysanthe- mums are more plentiful but in good demand. In addition to the varieties mentioned last week there are Polly Rose, Glory of Pacific, Rosiere, Omega, Carmolet, Virginia Poehlmann and a few Dr. Gerard. Prices have advanced very materially on Killarneys, Brides, Bridesmaids, Richmond and American Beauty roses. Carnations will average better prices than previously. Orchids are in short supply and selling well, cattleyas, Dendrobium formosum, oncid- iums and Vanda caerulea being the varieties most In evidence. Cypripe- diums not moving quite as well.
