Two large serving spoons from the table silver, dated 1840, the Tsar's court jeweller, Nichols & Plinke, St. Petersburg Partially gilded silver. Each spoon bears the engraved monogram "ON" beneath a grand ducal coronet and the crowned Russian double-headed eagle, St. Petersburg hallmarks for "84" zolotniki, an inspection mark for Dmitry Ilich Tverskoi "1840", and the work master's mark "" (Henrik August Long).
