He was married on May 3rd. 1882. to Miss Jennie E. Woodard, daughter ofWillard Woodard. who in his life time served one term in the State Senate inIllinois, and as President of the West Chicago Park Board for several mother was Lavina Ellery. a granddaughter oi William Ellery. and a grand-niece of Josiah Bartlett, both signers of the Declaration of Independence.
