The platforms are arranged for pay-on-the-platformoperation, a dividing rail separating the boarding fromthe alighting passengers and supporting the fare boxand a stool which may be used by either motorman orconductor or swung out of the way. The register maybe operated either by foot or by hand. The doors areall hand-operated and fold inwardly, the entrance andexit doors being independent of each other. This is.
