The Cube is a modern glass-clad, energy-efficient office building on Washingtonplatz designed by Danish architects 3XN & opened in February 2020. Mitte, Berlin, Germany The glass facade of the 10 storey building reflects the surroundings like a kaleidoscope and behind the glass folds are small terraces available to tenants. The interior of the Cube is equipped with the latest technology and uses mobile app to control & open the underground parking barrier and the foyer. The same technology can also be used to locate people in the building and the elevator automatically stops on the floor on which the user has his office - 3800 sensors are installed for the intelligent control. The building is energy efficient – the energy generated by solar radiation is used to cool the supply of fresh air and coated window panes reduce the heating of the interior.
