Grand Canyon Flood of Bright Angel Canyon . 1966 flood damage to North Kaibab Trail bridge in the Box of Bright Angel Creek. Bridge deck had been knocked off abutment and turned almost 90 degrees from original alignment. Note that all the handrails had been knocked off of bridge and the large pile of boulders deposited against the abutment by the flood waters, 1966. NPS
