The historic Batavia Depot that has been relocated and renovated and now stands as a museum near the Fox River and the town's river walk. The depot was formerly on the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad and was built in 1854. It is operated as a museum in a partnership between the Batavia Historical Society and the Batavia Park District. Batavia is a western suburb of Chicago.
