Sophie-Charlotte-Platz U-Bahn Underground railway station on the U2 rail line in Berlin-Charlottenburg. The station was designed by Alfred Grenander and opened in 1908. The station was renovated in 1986, new grey tiles were used and twenty-six large paintings were attached to the station walls showing the history of the subway. Old wooden benches & fire extinguishers were placed on the platforms.
