Leaf color is clean, rather bluish-green shades which in fall turn brightest yellow. Flowers are U/2 to 2 inches long, light greenish yellow marked at inside base with orange; appearing in May or June. 2 to 4 ft, $; 4 to 6 ft, $ WALNUT, BLACK—Valuable for nuts and tim- ber. It is hardy and succeeds best on a rich, deep, moist soil.
