Every effort should be put forth to conserve the progress thathas been made toward a combined District served by a singletrolley system, but this will be impossible if the company endeav-ors to collect toll too far in advance or if the citizens of theDistrict fail to recognize that the building up of the systemhas required faith, enterprise and a large investment which incourse of time should have its MAP OF ALL STREET RAILWAY Lift This trackage comprises all the lines of the Pittsburgh Railways Company 4<-foreign companies operating in the District.
