Dodder parasitising a tomato plant. Researchers unwrapping dodder (Cuscuta sp.) tendrils (yellow) from tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) plants. Research has shown that the dodder, which is parasitic on tomato plants, uses the unique odours given off by the tomato to recognise and grow towards the plant.
