Rotting vegetable pumpkin
The photograph shows a ripe pumpkin that has been stored on a shelf but has started to rot. Vegetables to be stored for later use must be in perfect condition otherwise they will not store for long. The swash family of plants are particularly vulnerable to damage around the stalk. Great care should be taken when harvesting these crops.
