At Mammoth Hot Springs, Upper Geyser Basin, Yel-lowstone Lake and the Grand Canyon are the four largehotels, operated by the Yellowstone Park Hotel Company. The Yellowstone Park Camps Company operates per-manent camps at Mammoth Hot Springs, Upper GeyserBasin, Yellowstone Lake, Grand Canyon and near TowerFall. All of the hotels and camps have the daily serviceof the automobile transportation line; and at these variousplaces one may obtain saddle horses and guides for mak-ing the local side trips from each superintendents office, mammoth hot springs 19005 16 HAYNES NEW GUIDE All the usual requirements of the traveler are suppliedat the hotelS;, camps^ stores and picture shops in the park,all of which are operated by private companies under gov-ernment leases and under supervision of the National ParkService. The independent motorist andthe motorcycle rider are permitted on all roads of the parkand have all the rights and privileges accorded to visit-ors using any other means of transportation.
