Lioness Zambia
This image was taken during an evening game drive from Kapani Lodge, with Ashid, our guide from Norman Carr Safaris. The pride had taken a water buffalo that morning and Ashid had a hunch that they would still be very close to where the kill had taken place. There were sixteen lions in this pride, but the two large males were not present.
