Billy Bowlegs III, aka Billy Fewell or Cofehapkee (1862–1965), Seminole elder (also of African American descent) and tribal historian, standing with other men beside a train in Ft. Pierce, Florida, in 1896. Bowlegs was the grandson of Osceola and was a member of the Snake Clan.
