Phlox Suffeuticosa. Instead of the heavy, broad heads of bloom produced by the varieties of P. decussata, these have long, graceful spikes of flowers. Although the range of color is limited and in some varieties not very bright and clear, yet these early Phloxes are of great value by reason of coming into flower some weeks in advance of the other varieties, and continuing in bloom the entire season, until late autumn.
