Aerial view of farmers harvesting water lilies in Satla Union, Barisal, Bangladesh. Water lilies are cultivated in over 40 square kilometres of wetlands in this village called Uttar Satla. 80 percent of the villagers are involved in water lily cultivation and marketing. From this village, water lilies are supplied to different parts of the country. The water lilies grow for four months, from August to November. Photographed on 29 September 2024.
