Cham people living in a village along the Mekong River south of Kratie, Cambodia. The Cham are the largest ethnic minority in Cambodia and are mostly Muslim. Some 70 Cham villages are spread across Cambodia, reminants of the Champa Empire that rules this part of Indonesia from the second to 15the centuries. Here a young woman prepares fresh caught Mekong River fish to make fish paste.
