Vincent Pellew, 514th Air Mobility Wing, Air Force Reserve Command, inserts a hemostatic dressing, commonly referred to as combat gauze, into a simulated wound during a Self-Aid and Buddy Care (SABC) class at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, , Nov. 5, 2017. The Airmen were trained on how to properly use tourniquets, Israeli bandages, hemostatic and occlusive dressings, and nasopharyngeal airways.
