Early morning sunlight over The Begwns, an area of sheep grazed upland common in mid Wales near Hay on Wye. The Wye Valley below is filled with mist, and there are views to the Black Mountains (left) and in the far distance to the right, the Brecon Beacons. Bales on the common are of bracken, cut and baled by local farmers for use as animal bedding.
