The Ulrichskapelle was built in 1889 by the architect Wilhelm Friedrich Laur in the neo-Gothic style. The legend of the stone loaf of bread: In times of great famine, a beggar asked the castle mistress of Neckarhausen for a piece of bread. But since the mistress was hard-hearted and stingy and also had little herself, she turned the hungry beggar away. After the beggar left, she looked at her last loaf of bread. But to her horror, the loaf had turned to stone. She interpreted this as a warning from God, whereupon she regretted her hard-heartedness and henceforth helped the poor.
