An iron Celtic sword with scabbard,3rd century Double-edged long sword with curved quillons and long tang with a jolted end. The scabbard has a riveted,rectangular suspension loop and a slid-on chape band. The scabbard mountings are missing. Length of the sword cm. Length of the scabbard cm. Fire patina,brownish-red surfaces. Metal well preserved,conserved. The lower part of the scabbard restored. Axel Guttmann Collection(AG 89/ W 58).
